Product highlights

  • Adjustable VentiCool™ Headgear: Headgear adjusts easily for best fit.
  • VentiCool™ Removable Headgear Clips: Designed to remain secure and reduces headgear from tangling throughout the night.
  • VisiBlue™ Color Cues: Blue highlights color-coded on the mask assist with mask use.
  • RollFit XT seal: Dynamically adapts to minimize leaks and pressure on the bridge of the nose. The cushion is deep and narrower around the nasal bridge to minimize leaks into the eyes.

Comfortable, Flexible Full Face Mask

Redefining Performance

Since full face masks for CPAP have more surface area than nasal masks, they can be a bit more challenging to fit. Fisher & Paykel’s new Vitera full face mask aims to put an end to leak chasing. The Vitera delivers stable, secure, dynamic support all night long so that you wake up rested.

The Fisher & Paykel Vitera adapts with you as you move, regardless of how much you move. The Vitera’s RollFit XT seal and low-profile stability bar sync with its breathable headgear to keep you cool, comfortable, and in your sleep therapy zone all night.

Frequently asked questions

  • How do I get an F&P Vitera mask, how much does it cost and is it covered by insurance?

A CPAP prescription is required for this unit. Cost and coverage vary by insurance provider and plan. After your doctor has provided you with a prescription, we recommend first contacting your insurance provider to learn more about what’s covered under your plan. Then you can find a CPAP equipment store near you or shop online.

  • I’m having issues with my CPAP mask and need help. Who should I contact?

The home medical equipment supplier – the store where you picked up your CPAP mask and machine – is responsible for providing you with ongoing clinical support, including answering any questions and helping you resolve any mask comfort or fitting issues that you may be experiencing. Getting used to a mask can be challenging and there may be a different mask option that will work better for your personal comfort needs, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

Not sure who your medical equipment supplier is? We can help. Fill out our Contact Us form or call us at (209) 232-7231

  • How do I clean my mask and how often should I clean it?

You should clean the cushion daily. The headgear, frame and elbow only require weekly cleaning. Facial oil and dirt can easily build up on your mask parts when they’re not cleaned properly, which can lead to skin irritation. The good news? Cleaning your mask doesn’t take long, so working it into your morning routine should be a breeze.

    HOW TO CLEAN YOUR HEADGEAR:

    Time it takes: 5 minutes

Supplies you’ll need to clean your mask:

    1. Sink or tub
    2. Warm, drinking-quality water (86°F / 30°C)
    3. Mild or hypoallergenic soap, or baby shampoo
    4. Towel

    Daily step-by-step cleaning tips:

    1. Unplug your CPAP machine from the power source and disconnect your mask/tubing from your machine.

    2. Disassemble your mask:

      • Pull the cushion out from one end of the frame, then out from the other end of the frame.

      • Unfasten the headgear tab from one side and pull it out of the frame, then do the same with the other side.

      • Squeeze the side buttons on the elbow and pull up to release it from the frame.

    3. In the sink, clean your mask parts by gently rubbing (or using a soft-bristle brush) with warm, drinking-quality water and soap. Avoid harsh cleaning products and dish detergents.

    4. Rinse again thoroughly with warm, drinking-quality water.

    5. Place mask components on the towel and allow to air-dry away from direct sunlight.

  • Can I use an ozone device to clean my mask?

Ozone or UV light products have not been validated for use with the mask. Use of ozone or UV light products may discolor or damage a the mask during the limited warranty period and that will not be covered. Discoloration or damage of the mask are only covered during the limited warranty period if they occur upon initial unpackaging.

  • How often should I replace mask parts and can I sign up for a replacement program?

Different parts require replacement at varying intervals. Taking care of your CPAP equipment is important, especially those parts which can be affected by dirt, oil and residue from your skin. Poorly cleaned CPAP masks can cause discomfort and skin irritation. The last thing we all need is another to-do item, so contact your CPAP equipment store and ask if they have a replacement supply program that you can enroll in to get new parts on a consistent schedule. And download the replacement tip sheet to help keep you on track.

  • Why is the mask cushion made from silicone material?

Most CPAP masks have silicone cushions because it’s a hypoallergenic material that’s soft, lightweight, and allows for a stable, comfortable seal on your face while you’re sleeping. It’s important that you decide what’s most comfortable for you and your therapy when it comes to your mask cushion. If you experience skin irritation or are uncomfortable with your current mask, contact your CPAP equipment store.
