CPAP Cleaning Guide

For the millions of people who use their CPAP equipment every day, you want to make sure your CPAP equipment and supplies are as effective as possible. In order to use your equipment safely each night, you need to make sure your equipment is clean. This prevents you from inhaling germs and bacteria as you sleep. Some of your components need to be cleaned daily, while others may only need to be cleaned monthly. 

Below are the CPAP supplies you’ll need to clean daily:

You can clean these supplies using warm water and a gentle soap. We recommend soaking your supplies for a few minutes and then letting them air dry so they are ready to use each night. Your PAP device needs to be cleaned at least monthly, but we recommend cleaning it weekly to bi-weekly. Cleaning your device is easy. All you need is a damp towel or a disinfecting wipe. We also recommend that you examine your machine and all your components each month to check for signs of wear and tear. If you notice any cracks, chips or signs of deterioration in your tubing, water chamber or any of your mask components, we recommend getting them replaced.
